A chime echoed through the dining hall as the seven o'clock bell rang. Lisa was by herself dusting off the various paintings and armory decorating the walls off the cavernous room. Not being able to reach them on her own, Lisa stood on a chair to gain better access to them. She hummed to herself happily as she did her chore. She then started hearing an intoxicating sound from behind her, the soothing sound of a violin being played by the cautious hands of its holder.

Lisa closed her eye and sighed, stopping what she was doing while being lost in the tune that was played, swaying to the tune smiling, lost in the soothing melody being played. Eventually she snapped out of the stupor and turned around to see a young girl about her age, maybe a year younger, sitting at the table playing her violin. The girl was in a fine, dark blue dress with black lace mixing in the design. Her fine, long curled blond hair rested itself on her shoulders as she played so masterfully, along with wearing a black hairband to keep the bangs out of her face so she could concentrate. Lisa then sighed again "Emily is there something you need?" she said. The girl then opened her mismatching red and blue eyes, stopping the masterfully played melody and set aside the string instrument. "I wrote that song for you" she said in an innocent voice "I hope you like it" she continued to say. Lisa looked at her with a slight frown "It was good, but I don't have time to listen to music you know. Now please tell me what you want Emily, I'm very busy". Emily then looked at her with a devilish smirk and a hint of mischief in her eyes "My love, you know what I want". Lisa closed her eye "How many times do I have to tell you? I don't love you, and I can't afford to turn anyone into what I am".

No matter where Lisa was in the mansion, Emily always found her, and each time the girl showed herself, it was always when Lisa would be conveniently alone for quite some time. Lisa is the only person who knows about the strange illusive girl, and she would always appear out of nowhere to Lisa, and leave without a trace of ever being there. Emily was not of the undead, nor was she a ghost, fully human with a strange infatuation with the corpse maid. After saying those words for an lost counted time, Lisa turned around to resume her work, only then to find herself face to face with Emily gazing into her oddly colored eyes. She still had the same devilish look in her eyes gazing into Lisa's single one. "Maybe this will change your mind my love" Emily said lightly while wrapping her arms around Lisa's head, lightly resting them on the maid's shoulders. Slowly closing her eyes Emily advanced her lips to press them against Lisa's, passionately kissing the one she so deeply admired. Lisa's eye was wide in shock, frozen in place the the sudden kiss from her admirer. This was the first time Emily had kissed Lisa, and the first time Lisa ever kissed anyone, though feelings not being mutual to one another, this was still Lisa's first kiss. Panicking, Lisa took the girl's head and lightly pulled away. "Emily, what are you tr-" cut off by a finger over her lips. "Shh... don't talk Lisa... just accept it" Emily said softly into Lisa's ear with a gentle smile that no one could resist, then continued with a few light pecks on the maid's cheek leading back to pressing lips again.

The two main doors of the dining hall suddenly swing open, both doors slamming against the walls, sending out a loud echoing bang through the hall. Startled, Lisa swiftly looked to the doorway to see the outline of a man. The sound of dove chirps and rattling chains soon followed as Crow entered the room. Relieved, Lisa turned her head back to Emily to find that she had vanished. Again startled but to a higher extent, she slipped and fell off the chair screaming. Crow then approached the clumsy corpse girl and offered a helping hand to her. "Thanks Vincent" she said smiling while accepting his hand. Pulling her up Crow looked at her with his soulless eyes then looked over to the table where Emily's violin was resting before he entered, then back at Lisa now releasing her hand. "Thank you again Vince, your such a sweetheart." she again said with a gentle smile. Crow then averts his eyes from Lisa, hiding a feint blush and continued to pass through the room without a word. The chains on his coat rattled with every step he made until he left the room closing the doors quietly behind him. "Well i should get back to work" she said to herself setting the chair back up.

Emily stood in the shadows watching Lisa get back to work with an irritated look on her face. "You show that fiend kindness and care, but you never express yourself so kindly to me. Why? what do I have to do to have you in my arms" were the girl's thoughts. "I will win you over Lisa, no matter how much it breaks my heart to not have your love. I will have you" she muttered to herself quietly, to not be detected. "I love you Lisa... don't get yourself hurt while I sleep, unless you want to see me cry... then I will cry your name until my dying breath..." after that thought she then blew an unnoticed kiss and disappeared into the darkness, leaving Lisa to work in peace until the next time she will make her appearance.
